Well. There's something so achingly honest about this; I like that they're stripped down and vulnerable. It makes them more human and it makes you realize how much everything can hurt sometimes. Combine that with the way you write, and you've got something really beautiful, even in sadness.

First off, I love the string of random comments that I've gotten from you this week -- especially since I've been reading and commenting on old entries, too. This should be "random comments from your mods!" week or something.

You know what? thank you. I never really know what to say to your feedback, because it's always so incredible. As for the characters... I think we've got them in a really interesting place right now. It's like you said -- they're so human. They weren't really all that human before though, you know? On idol they were Jalan, and now they've both done complete turnarounds and they're fallible, just Jacob and Kalan.
