The weekend before last I went to Yorkshire for four days, but only managed to socialise in York once. Last weekend I went on a photographic walkabout in Leith. Last Monday I helped out at Greyfriars Kirk House, serving meals to the homeless. This is something I did more of when I first came to Edinburgh a few years ago. I still go along from time to time. The only outstanding thing that has happened in the last week is that the police came round to my flat at 11pm one evening at the weekend, reporting a smell of gas and wanting entry to the flat below me. Only a few things have happened since my last entry. One of these is that I went on a walk near Peebles on Sunday. This was quite scenic although the pace of walking meant there wasn't much time just to look at the view. Since then it has been quite cold in Edinburgh.
