Apparently, ERIC KRIPKE (of the 'Supernatural' series) will be doing the TV adaptation of 'The Sandman' comics. I've always had an instinctive feeling that he's credible enough to receive the honor of paying homage to Neil Gaiman's genius creation. And well, Kripke is pretty awesome, really. I will hope for the best.

AND YEAH, RIGHT?! My mentor Paul (who introduced me to The Sandman comics) was the only one who wasn't thrilled. He didn't llike Supernatural, apparently, which is surprising since there are elements between SPN and Sandman that are comparable. I think he didn't give that saiid TV series a chance, I bet. Because at first I didn't either because I felt it was overhyped and the rabid fans of its fandom turned me off a bit...but boy was I damn wrong!!! Kripke created a very consistent storyline. Am a total Cas girl, btw!

LAWL. I love One Tree Hill but I can see your point-of-view. I am actually hoping it would be an HBO or Showtime thing. Kripke plus The Sandman plus either HBO or Showtime would be a trinity of awesomeness for me <3
I actually raved about The Sandman in this post, because I can't control myself. I LOVE IT! I'm so happy we both share a passion for it!
