You know...there are a number of things that break a novel's spell. Making useless comments that are clearly the author and not the character; doing nothing but sitting around in the character's head while they (hopefully) pontificate themselves off a cliff since something would be happening then; and last glaring, glaring, GLARING, grammatical

OMG I can't remember what book it was but I read a book within the last year and it had stupid errors in it like homophones mixed up and such. It drove me crazy.

Was the book self published? If not that is terrible. Sometimes I like finding mistakes as it makes me feel clever in a small way, lol.
