Pilot Write: "The Abandoned"

Hello again, everyone. Here's another of my "Pilot Writes". This one is a brief snippet of the Erik of Laus-centric fic I had mentioned in an earlier post. This is pretty promising. I hope for another memorable "unreliable narrator" out of you.

I must say I do a double-take on your choice of "Cornelius" for the name, simply because over in FE3/11 that's the name of Marth's father. But, to me the name is better suited to a wrinkly old advisor than a heroic king dude anyway. And yes, I did grow up reading the Babar books.

Erik is a drama queen?

I thought you might find this little teaser interesting, since you liked Notre Dame. Cornelius just sounded like a good name, but if I think of any better ones, I'll prolly change it.

You remember Babar? Whoa that was a while back. Well, I saw parts of the TV series, at least XDD Don't remember any of the characters, but yeah.

Erik...is a bit of a moody character, and by that I mean he has many vacillations of emotion and mood swings throughout the course of the story, from angst and bitterness (and there's a lot of bitterness there) to elation and smugness. And that might explain what will happen at the end of the story...maybe. (And he loves to have people pity him, even if he says otherwise)

There are a few in-progress stories I want to finish before I really dive into this one, though, so it might be a while.
