*points and laughs* WEIRDO!

...But yeah, I think most people think NatashaxSeth is just boring. Er, myself included. I mean, I'm sure it could be very sweet, but...it's not...exciting, you know? It would just be a regular romance, not an epic one, although love in general is pretty epic...

Eh, who knows. It probably just depends on the quality of the idea/fic/author, eh? There's certainly such a thing as bad SethxEirika, so why can't there be good SethxNatasha? (But I'm waaaaay biased for the KnightxPrincess thing...I don't know why, but I adore it insanely.)

As to #4...DUDE. I KNOW, RIGHT?!

Yeah, you're right. I guess I was being a lil' closed-minded. ^_ ( ... )

2. While I'm not overly fond of Natasha OR Joshua, I think they do more for each other than she does for Seth, in the sense that Joshua has lost almost everything; having Natasha might soften the blow, and marrying Joshua would confront her with all sorts of social and moral conflicts, as well as tension between her and the rest of Jehanna's ruling class, whatever they're like.

Likewise, to me Seth is more interesting when he has to face the issues that come with loving Eirika. It may not be the most original romance, but it has possibilities for his character growth that I don't think Natasha gives him. Maybe I'm wrong, though - if you have thoughts on what they do for each other, I'd be happy to hear them. Like I said in my post, I'm not attached to any pairing in FE8. I won't respond like a shipper. I have my opinions, but that's all they are.

6. Damn, I have to play this game. >_>

Some of my friends said the same thing - that they ended up liking First Depature more, and going back to SO2 was actually not as fun.

Well, maybe. I guess I'm just in the minority.

PLAY EET. NAO. For the most part, the characters are nothing special, and the plot doesn't seem to be anything special yet...I think I'd have to play SO2 again before I could say for sure which I prefer. But I'm always up for a good retro-style RPG. >:D

Hey, congrats. Now the real fun starts...

Re: Seth/Natasha...

1) In general, the relationship is harder to place in a stereotypical pigeonhole (the way the Natasha/Joshua bit hits some old "good girl"/"bad boy" buttons for people). People aren't "primed" for it.
2) Personally, I'm not interested much in Natasha and hence not interested in her inner life or love life unless it's a damned interesting and different piece of writing. It's refreshing to see given the sheer amount of Seth/Eirika, but I have no personal investment in it.
3) On the other hand, at least it's not Seth/Franz.

Actually, I LIED. I haven't gotten whole KALEJI FINISH GET yet, just SEMESTAR FINISH GET. XD But hey, a month and change off? I can live with that :D

But that's why I like it.

Maybe I should try to get into Natashua. I always thought it was kind of forced how the game just forced them together on a chance meeting. In my opinion, there isn't a whole lot of chemistry there.

Oh, I'm not advocating the pairing in the slightest. It's just one of those things I accept 'fic wise because it takes the path of least resistance in tying up a loose end (ie, getting Joshua a wife). There is some interesting potential there-- I like the idea of Grado-born 'Tasha leading Joshua to a more Grado-friendly policy than he'd craft on his own, for instance. The underlying concept of the pairing is definitely forced and cliched, but it's a cliche people appear to expect. Whereas Seth/Natasha isn't something people expect, because it's actually more realistic.

There's enough obligatory Natashua out there as it is. Keep on hitting the drum for Seth/Natasha, man. I clicked on "Seasons..." because it was "different," and kept reading because you'd put a massive amount of thought into it.

Also, where's the Joshua/Marisa?

If more people wrote that pairing like this, I might read more of it.

Thank you. :D "Different" and "massive amount of thought" seem to pretty much sum me up in general. XD

Hi!

I'm all for Seth/Natasha! I think that it's sweet and so unexpected - which is why I like it. And yes, it is realistic, which is why I like it even more - the ending was so sweet.

Rest assured, there will be a Natasha/Seth fic up - I can't say soon because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to fics.
Although it's only both their perspectives of all of their conversations.

I hope you will update 'Seasons and Treasons, Moments and Minutes' soon. I would love to read the next chapter.

As for Joshua and Marissa...they're good together, I love the idea of them falling in love whilst they are fighting, which is the appeal of Karla/Batre - partly.
Yeah, I think it's the good girl/bad boy thing that makes people ship them so hard as well as the fact that Joshua gains more by having Natasha by his side.
