A month or so ago, I posted a 'story so far' round-up, with links to various relevant posts, and... Either LJ's eaten it, or I've fallen into a parallel universe where I never did it, or I've just gone plain mad.

Anyway, here's a round-up and reminder!

We have 12 people signed up for the 2016 meeting (at the Ramada Hotel, Coventry on 16-18

I've posted on the other post - I can do a desk calendar thing for a crafty project - it's very straightforward and is really useful as it folds down to A6!

How are the sign-ups going? I ask because there is a chance (slim at the moment but one must be prepared), that I won't be able to attend due to MWNN's health. I'm holding off booking a room as long as I can and am anxious that break-even hasn't been achieved this year.

So far, we only have 12 people signed up. I don't know whether that's normal at this stage because I've never done it before. Do you know if people usually leave it until nearer the time?

Obviously, we don't have enough people at the moment, and I am planning to post a reminder in the next day or so, but (given the date and the numbers) I'm not sure how I need to pitch it.

Talk to Gill. I think some of the regulars leave it until the last minute.

Thanks! I was so hoping that was the case with the regulars, because quite a few are missing from the list.

No one seems to have entered the banner challenge, either -- I think it's something else that people don't get 'into' until nearer the time. I can make a new banner, though, if you would like one.
