Two submissions, two rejections

Sometimes I get the feeling I'm writing just for myself.  But, if that's all that ever comes of it at least I'm entertaining myself & keeping out of trouble.

Today's count:  1 romance & 1 YA; one batch of brownies (aromatherapy :))

*hug* Sorry to hear it didn't work out, but know that there were over 80 stories for 30 spots.

Definitely, write for yourself. That's my plan. Then, if I liked it, it's a winner redardless of publishing or not!

ETA - Also, you can always revise/expand the story and resub as a general submission.

*hug* Thanks so much for your support & encouragement! It means a lot coming from someone whose work I enjoy so much. :)

I love this story & was thinking of how I could expand it (thanks for the suggestion, btw, I hadn't thought of that!) but now it has an editor to help polish it. We'll see what happens there! I'm still working on one for the DSP Snow on the Roof anthology & a couple of the 2013 calls have, er, called out to me. :)
