I've been popping in a couple times a week to look around, but haven't had much time for fun stuff lately-except those times when my brain just shuts down from the overload of new information. Then I cuddle up with my nook & some Erom. :)
School's going well, two of my classes are challenging and very work-intensive. But I'm also taking a survey course in computers that's blissfully easy. It'll be handy to have a refresher on beginning Access before I go on to work toward my office systems certificate (whatever they're calling it).
The law classes take work, but that's because I have very little experience with the court system except for watching my ex in traffic court a few times. Instructors are cool & class discussions are lively even though it's the crack o'dawn, so I'm having fun.
The first e-mail from my editor got caught in my spam filter *facepalm* but I turned in my homework and am waiting for her to get back to me. I'm hoping she won't ask for any substantial changes, but we'll see.
I have two more stories I've been putting a lot of work into-one for a November deadline (which I plan to submit as soon as my crit group has a chance to tear it a new one next week!). The other one could easily become a novella, or I could polish it up a little more & run it by my editor as a 15K or so short & get her opinion. Not sure about that one, I'll see how that relationship goes before I make up my mind.
Oh, and I'm now officially a Twit! The publisher has a few documents outlining marketing strategies for her authors & one encouraged everyone to get on Twitter. It's better than Facebook, at least it seems to be for me, but it still feels a little odd to think that I'm Tweeting. It's under my nom de plume, but if anyone wants to follow me there send a PM and I'll probably let you know what that is. I really don't want my real name to be associated with my pen name online, in case I ever finish any of the YA projects I'm working on. Nobody wants YAs to google them & find Erotic Romance. :)
