You know, I just thought of it now, but I think I'd separate that first sentence into two. It might make the entire piece flow more smoothly.

Kadri was a Turkish name I ran across and it was just so cute so I used it. There was a weird symbol over the "i" at the end that I can't seem to find on a lowercase "i", though... (the site has all the names in caps :/)
