Interesting article on snacks and other ways to fight food cravings (something I'm REALLY having a problem with right now):

10 Ways to Fight Food Cravings

The one about the whole grain cereal? I use cereal as a snack all the time. 100 cals and tends to be filling. :) I like the Multi-Grain Cheerios, myself.

No problem! I'm always struggling with snacks and food cravings, and I figured others have some of the same problems.

I'm definitely a comfort eater. The past couple of weeks have been making me crazy: it's gotten cold, I've been sick, and I'm stressed about the house. Not surprising, I'm gaining weight again. Need the house thing to be over. :P

Ooh, great link, thanks for posting!

Be wary of the gum, though. If you're munching because of oral fixation, it can be helpful, but the chewing motion actually prompts your stomach to release acid and then wonder why it's not receiving any food, making you hungrier.

I don't chew gum, actually. Bad for the teeth in general, and my teeth are in bad shape already. And the whole acid thing gives me yet another reason not to since I all ready have an ulcer. No irritating the tummy!
