Further Details: This is a three part challenge that first ran in the now defunct fictionland. For this challenge you will need to write a short story (no prompt) with a word count of with a minimum of 300 words. The recommended upper limit is 500, although there's no penalty for going over (warning: going too high will make the future challenges more difficult as there will be more stringent word limits). Please note that in order to participate in the future portions of this challenge, you must first complete this part.
How to Submit: You may post either on your personal journal or in wv_bookclub under a cut with the title Challenge #12: (Story/Challenge Title). If you have questions about this please see a mod. Please use the submission form below both at the top of your story and in your reply to your team thread.
