Kitayama nearly spits out his water, quickly hugging his phone closer and looks around to make sure no one can see. Luckily, their water break has only just started and no one is paying any attention to him at the moment, more interested in crawling towards their own water bottles or in some cases, just lying on their backs praying for today’s taiko practice to be over.
He scowls slightly as he types out a reply. What if someone saw that?!
The reply comes almost immediately and goddammit, Kitayama can practically hear Totsuka’s chuckle. Apologies. Just thinking out loud, so to speak.
Kitayama’s fingers move swiftly over the keyboard.
Thanks. Now I’m thinking about it too. Still not sure what time we’ll finish rehearsal here, but I hope you're free tonight, saying stuff like that. With promotions for Totsuka’s movie starting soon combined with the kabuki training schedule, they haven’t really spent time together in a while.
