A/N: Okay, PLEASE READ A/N BEFORE READING, GUYS? Thanks ^_^
So.. this is originally just a fic about how Kangin uses his authority to rape Leeteuk, but Heechul suddenly came into my mind (I know he shouldn't attend the military because of his injury, but he just came like that! XD) and he brought the angst =_= And then I don't know anything about military, I'm so sorry if it doesn't look like real. Next, it's my very first attempt at angst, sorry again. And don't forget the grammar mistake, lol XD
Being bullied, teased and even hurt; those are already in Leeteuk's daily life. Those are his daily food which he has to bear everyday and everytime--since he joins the military that every Korean's men should attend.
It's been two weeks already, and he thinks he's already accustomed by it. Yes, accustomed.
"Hey idol, watch where you going!" A big man says, simply pushes Leeteuk's thin body onto the ground. The two other big men laugh, taking their chance to kick Leeteuk also, making the leader of Super Junior groans in pain.
But no, he isn't crying. He can’t, he has to accustom himself with their entire attitude for two years. Regretting everything has no use; everyone knows that.
Leeteuk stands up, attempting to form a cheerful smile on his face. "I'm sorry, hyung."
"Is that the only thing you say to your seniors, huh? This is not the entertainer's world, boy!" The men giggle, their eyes mocking Leeteuk.
Being the youngest one now makes Leeteuk feels uneasy. He bows his head deeply, trying not to drip his tears. "Jeongmal mianhae, hyung. I won't do this again. I promise."
The man snorts, nudging Leeteuk's body for the last time before he goes out. "Do that once again and you're dead, Park Jungsu."
Right. What is his fault again? He only walked like usual and himself being collided and he's the one who became the victim since it's three versus one; and will he die eventually? He doesn't even understand what his fault is.
Leeteuk walks to his room--yeah it's good to have a big entertainment company to his side so he could have a room by himself.
***
Heechul lies down on the fluffy white bed, burying his head into it. He's bruised, his hands injured and face swollen, but he feels nothing when he sniffs the fragrant--it smells good--and he sniffs more, hand unintentionally strokes his crotch. This is Leeteuk's room, this is Leeteuk's fragrance.
He has to return to his own room, but he doesn't want to. Leeteuk's room, it feels so good, with all of Leeteuk's belonging and his fragrance. Heechul likes everything about Leeteuk, he loves it.
Heechul gets up when he sees Leeteuk on the doorway, his clothes a little too dirty than usual and there are footprints there. "What again now?"
The older only smiles, closing the door calmly then takes a box of medicine, brings it to Heechul's side. He answers Heechul's question as his hand opened the box, "The usual."
"They keep teasing you, huh?" Heechul groans in pain when Leeteuk put cold water and cotton on his face, cleaning his wound. "They're just too jealous of you, you know? That's why they keep teasing you."
"I know," The older responds without looking at Heechul's eyes, still cleaning his dongsaeng's bruised face.
"Then why do you let them bully you?"
Leeteuk doesn't answer, he smiles instead as he covers Heechul's face with one of the bandage. And it annoys Heechul how he feels the older is busying himself with 'healing-Heechul' activity than taking care of himself.
"You love to finally have hyung, I suppose," Heechul snorts, his line kind of mocking Leeteuk.
"Not really," Leeteuk chuckles, now throwing himself beside Heechul. "Not my ideal hyung--" and he looks at Heechul's eyes. "Because they bully my dongsaeng."
The younger snorts, he totally understands that the one who's being addressed as 'dongsaeng' is him. He closes his eyes and burying himself even deeper into the blanket. "Bully? No. They only tried to undress me, which I responded them with some punches. And they fought me back, that's all."
"You shouldn't do that," Leeteuk giggles, also closing his eyes and rests his head on a nearby pillow.
"At least I can still save myself," Heechul answers lazily, while his mind adds a "You can't take care of yourself because you need me everytime they tease you so you don't cry" but he just can't represent it because it sounds so rude and he doesn't want to hurt Leeteuk.
Awkwardness filled the room, and before they know it, they already fall asleep, side to side, enjoying the warmness of each other's breath.
***
The next day at night, Leeteuk keeps seeing Heechul in his room. His eyes open widely; body spreads on the comfortable single bed. Leeteuk follows his gaze at the ceiling, but finds nothing. "What are you looking at?"
Heechul doesn't turn, "Nothing. Well I just make sure that the hyungs don't bully you until late night."
Leeteuk smiles, oh how he wishes Heechul was this sincere when they were still in Super Junior. "They don't. If you need proof, it's my existence here now."
"Alright, just sit down here, you stupid," Heechul takes some medicine from Leeteuk's medicine box when the older sits beside him. The younger one grabs Leeteuk's collar and there are bruises visible on his lower neck.
Heechul sighs, looking at Leeteuk in the eyes. "Hah. 'they don't do anything', you say?" He puts a tape on the bruises, making Leeteuk shudders. "I don't get why so many persons bully you. Doesn’t the captain know their attitude toward you?"
"I don't think so," Leeteuk smiles.
"Stop being so generous," Heechul groans, moistening Leeteuk's wound and undress his top completely so the shirt wouldn't block him. "Really, I wonder what Kangin's doing; why the fuck does he let his subordinates hurt his lover like this?"
Leeteuk's smile fades away, eyes completely avoid Heechul's gaze as he’s just looking at the floor under him, pointless. "He's not my lover."
Heechul frowns, his mind struggles about how he should act now--glad because Leeteuk can be his, or sad because he's failed to fulfill Kangin's message to take care of the older man. "But you're KangTeuk."
"Well, not anymore, now we're just Kim Youngwoon and Park Jungsu."
The younger sighs again, trailing his fingers on Leeteuk's previous bruise. "I'm sure the fans will hate you if they hear what you just said."
Leeteuk chuckles, "I'll make sure they don't hear it then."
***
Leeteuk seems like the one who doesn't care about his previous job anymore, but he actually does. He loves Super Junior. He loves his dongsaengs. He loves his fans.
He loves Kangin.
The only thing which motivates Leeteuk to forget them all is only because of Kangin's attitude. If Kangin avoids him, then they're not related at all. And he does avoid him.
It makes Leeteuk notice that they're not the KangTeuk the fans called them. There is no Kangin, there is no Leeteuk. It makes Leeteuk understand that there's something outside his life with Super Junior. There's something outside the KangTeuk fanservice they have made.
And they're not one anymore.
"Well," Heechul's slight voice wakes him up, "You don't have to keep everything by yourself, okay. You must be glad that I join the military in the same year as you."
Even the meaning is slightly confusing, but Leeteuk understands it. Heechul always have something to say yet he's not good to express it, even when it's about love. He never admits love so bluntly, but it makes Leeteuk learn about him more and finally able to translate his line. Heechul offers himself to become his shoulder to cry on.
The older rest his head on Heechul's shoulder, tears slightly coming down his cheek. It's good to have someone as care as Heechul beside you, even when his words don't look like it.
***
Heechul feels like want to eat Leeteuk when the older boy rests his head on his shoulder.
Leeteuk never cry in front of other people, and even now when he really does cry beside Heechul, he doesn't want Heechul to see him. He doesn't want Heechul to think like he's a weakling; when it's impossible since Heechul knows Leeteuk is crying now and the younger always assumes Leeteuk as the one who needs a protector.
Heechul wants to protect Leeteuk, wants to make the angel as pure as the real angel, and seeing Leeteuk cry makes him feel sad.
The problem is that his mind keeps telling him that Leeteuk is cute right now and he shall take the older man because this situation which includes of Leeteuk's heartbreak and cry beside Heechul may won’t be happen again in the future.
His mind tells him to kiss the older's plump lips, to shade the tears he has on his pretty face, and to fuck the man when he's being this cute. But Heechul's appropriate mind warns him that Leeteuk is his best friend, also his another-bestfriend's lover, and his job is to protect him, not to make him his.
Heechul doesn't understand what's going on in his mind.
***
"Well, it's our angel idol!" A man shouts when they're in the kitchen, earning a lot of laughter from the other men. Leeteuk doesn't respond, walking silently as his hands bring the tray of food. Beside him, Heechul is staring at the violent men as if threaten them not to bully the older one. The men tempted instead, one of them walking closer and collides himself to Leeteuk's, making Leeteuk falls to the ground and there's a loud voice of falling trays and plate--also scattered food. The men laughed, "Oh, sorry, Angel. I only touch your body and you're already falling? You should train more, it's not the world of entertainer, buddy!" And they laugh.
The laugh cut off by a sound of skin meets skin, when Heechul punches the violent man's face. The room is suddenly filled with silent, Leeteuk himself can only gasp. Heechul stands in front of him as if to protect him, and his eyes lock to the violent man's eyes.
"No one can touch him!" He screams, and no one can against him. Just no one, because Heechul is dangerous and they understand it.
Leeteuk sighs, places his hand on top of Heechul's shoulder, looks slightly hurt. "Stop it."
"But, Teukie--"
"Just stop it, Heechul. And don't call me like that."
Heechul frowns, he's gulping his saliva when Leeteuk's expression changes from hopeless to firmness. Right, he understands; he grabs Leeteuk's hand and brings him into their room.
"I can't stand it anymore!" Heechul screams again when it's only the two of them in the room. He angrily throws a pillow to Leeteuk's direction. "You should fight them back, you know!? It's hopeless! How can you manage to survive from them by two years?? You're crazy!!"
Leeteuk turns his head so the pillow doesn't hit him, "Heechul. You know I can't disobey senior, even in my trainee life."
Heechul agrees with the response--hell yeah even when Heechul wasn't so close to Leeteuk back then, he knew Leeteuk always respect his seniors. That’s what makes him being a leader, after all. But Heechul displeases. "Now it's different, Teukie! They always tease you, it's just one more step for them to raping you, maybe even killing you! This is military!"
"I never heard any killing in military,"
"You'll be the first, then!" Heechul insists.
"I'll just keep silent. It's no difference than when I was trainee, after all."
"It's different!" Heechul frowns, runs to Leeteuk and pushes his body until the older falls onto the bed. Heechul is on top of him, glaring. "I know how much you've been through, Teukie, that's why I feel it stupid for you to obey them because they're only jealous of you. They don't know you, but I know you, and I don't want them to bully you because of their lack of knowledge about you!"
Leeteuk smiles, somehow feels a little embarrassed because it's so unusual for Heechul to expresses what he thinks bluntly. "I appreciate you for being over-protective since we come here, but can you please not call me with that nickname? We're not in Super Junior."
Heechul slaps him hard, making the older gasps. "You don't love our group anymore, huh? What's with your sudden change!? You used to be our group's umma. Is it because of Kangin's attitude toward you!?"
Leeteuk feels his heart jumps whenever he heard the name. "No... I think no. Let go of me, Heechul."
"I'll just face Kangin and ask him not to treat you like a stranger anymore."
"No, please," Leeteuk grabs Heechul's sleeve, eyes looking so guilty. "He has his own world, his pleasure for being a captain. You can't disturb him."
"Even when it means to hurt his lover's heart?"
"We're not lover."
"Shut up! I know you love him, and his cold attitude pushes you down until you become as down as this."
Leeteuk gulps. Well, Heechul really knows everything about him. They've known each other for about six years afterall, and both Leeteuk and Heechul--also together with Kangin--are known as Super Junior's most funny members and it's what makes them so close.
Heechul has certainly noticed there's something going on between his two friends. And when Kangin has to attend the military sooner, he's in charge of protecting Leeteuk to show his loyalty to his unfortunate best friend.
Heechul protects Leeteuk for the sake of these two years, but why do the two still don't reunite each other? It makes his attempt futile. And a Kim Heechul doesn't like this, let alone when it has to relate something with Leeteuk's previous job as an idol--because when it comes to effort, there's no one can beat Leeteuk and jealousy because misunderstanding will make things much harder.
"No," Leeteuk insists, his eyes don't meet Heechul's ones. "My feeling isn't important. Release me now..."
"I won't--" Heechul cuts off by a creak of the door, and the two of them instinctively looking at the doorway. There is one of the senior, raising his eyebrow as he looks at how Leeteuk is lying on the bed and Heechul is on top of him.
"Hey idol," He says, pointing at Leeteuk. "The captain wants to meet you."
One more hard heartbeat for Leeteuk. The captain? It's... Kangin? Kangin wants to meet Leeteuk?
Heechul seems notice the older's awkwardness and he gets up, walking to the senior. "What happened?"
The senior shudders, "Dunno. Maybe the punishment because he made a noise back then in the kitchen."
Heechul feels his blood gets up to his head. "Punishment? Why him!? I'm the one who made the noise. Just let me face Kangin."
"No no you can't," The senior tries to block the way, "The captain only wants that one, not you."
"I'll go," Leeteuk gets up and walking past the senior, trying not to make Heechul follow him. "It's the captain's order, afterall."
He emphasizes the 'captain' one, makes it sounds like a really official meeting. Well, maybe it is. But knowing how unstable Leeteuk's condition is now, Heechul can't guarantee it.
And Leeteuk can only keep his heart calm on his way to Kangin--or more like, Kim Youngwoon's room.
