Dangerous with a knife

- Well, I'm officially a hazard to myself. Twice in two weeks I have cut myself with a knife. A half hour ago I was trying to cut an apple and sliced my finger pretty good. I never cut at the right angle and I suppose I am surprised it hasn't happened more. Renee says I should let her cut everything from now on ( Read more... )

Maybe your knives aren't sharp enough? I know it sounds impossible if you keep cutting yourself with them, but a blunt knife can be a real hazard in the kitchen.

Oh, that's exactly what I said to Renee (since we bought a cheaper set of knives). That and me cutting like a real dork makes for a bad combination.
