Still looking for a beta? Wish I had better resources for you...

I'm sorry I wasn't able to be more "on top" of things for you...RL sort of buried me there for a little while and I'm actually going to shut up now, because every time I *think* I'm getting square again, I get knocked on my ass. So. Shutting up.

Anyone got ideas where she can find a good beta for an excellent fic (if it's the one I looked at, starring Oz?)

Phew! I'm not a total failure as a beta! :) Really, what you sent for me to look over was excellent and deserves recs upon recs.

That's a rec, folks. Go read her stuff. I don't know if it was the final title, but the piece I beta'd was called "Lycaeus." If it's not up, I'm an a-hole for spilling, but for the rest of the fanifc readers/Oz fans out there, keep your eyes open for it!

I started cause my fave author inspired me, and I just forgot to stop. :)

What inspires me - sometimes just reading my flist or rewatching the show and getting ideas about plot. Sometimes I try to think up ideas, sometimes I get in ficathons or challenges that inspire me, sometimes I ask for prompts, sometimes they just come randomly - it depends.

I like to write because it's a fun way to explore my fannish side and my creative side. I like feeling proud of what I create and feeling like I'm contributing to/collaborating with a larger community.

I have a question about your avatar...any particular reason Lady Justice is weeping today? Or is it just in general? I'm not being critical -- just wondering if I missed something in the news... :) I'm all for reforming our justice system so that it actually reflects some justice instead of just being punitive.

I think this is probably the most fanfic "purist" answer yet... :) congratulations!

Haha. It's just a quote from this show called Glee - nothing to do with our justice system whatsoever, although that's good too. ;)

And yay! Do I get a prize? :P

Haven't watched Glee, although there's one lady in it who was in "Boston Legal" as a sex therapist (of sorts) who always cracks me up no matter what she's in, so I've been kind of curious about that show. It's tricky, since we don't have cable. We have to rely on what the networks put up on their sites, or on hulu, or something.

A prize...a prize...I'm pretty sure that Buffy would suggest a "cookie." Or from Willow, a gold star. It depends on what your designation of "prize" is.

For example, tons of hot water (shower, tea, coffee) sounds like the best thing on earth. If you're me. It turned autumn overnight, I swear! Mmmmm, time for all sorts of cozy warm decadent things... :)
