I'm doing it!

It's as good an excuse as any to write out this story that's been slamming around in my head since 2007.

Basically the story is about a young man named Rafael Thompson, or Rafe. He's on the side of the villains via blackmail/protection scam and is an angstbucket and a ragekitten. While the story spins off to include other folks -- including a god-touched girl and a woman possessed by ghosts (long story but she's awesome) -- it really chronicles his fall to darkest despair and how he clawed his way out of it.

Also there's magic and stuff. :D

I'm doing picowrimo again. Not sure whether I'll have my current WiP finished by the end of today, but once that's done I'll move on to a psychobilly take on the Robert Johnson legend.

A quick google search caught me up to speed on psychobilly (right…). It'll be interesting to see how you merge the two.

I reeeeeeeeeealy want to do it this year, especially my first win last November. Maybe I'll try picowrimo-it seems much more manageable with my coursework.

I'm definitely in (and should come up with a working name for the few characters who don't have one yet).

It's a kind of 19th century/early 20th century fantasy with extraterrestial angels and intrigue in a Northern court.

My CoC is a diplomat named Lady Cornelia, the Queen's favourite envoy to send. She'll use politeness, sarcasm and wit where others mainly use poison.
