Basically the story is about a young man named Rafael Thompson, or Rafe. He's on the side of the villains via blackmail/protection scam and is an angstbucket and a ragekitten. While the story spins off to include other folks -- including a god-touched girl and a woman possessed by ghosts (long story but she's awesome) -- it really chronicles his fall to darkest despair and how he clawed his way out of it.
I'm doing picowrimo again. Not sure whether I'll have my current WiP finished by the end of today, but once that's done I'll move on to a psychobilly take on the Robert Johnson legend.
A quick google search caught me up to speed on psychobilly (right…). It'll be interesting to see how you merge the two.

It's a kind of 19th century/early 20th century fantasy with extraterrestial angels and intrigue in a Northern court.
My CoC is a diplomat named Lady Cornelia, the Queen's favourite envoy to send. She'll use politeness, sarcasm and wit where others mainly use poison.
