I liked the medical knowledge in your fic - it wasn't just an artery, it's the 'cartoid artery'. The language choice really serves to ground this fic in a human perspective. Good job!

Nice! The last line is just so Dean, happy that his brother doesn't have his life. Poor baby still misses him though! *pouts*

But yeah, it's definitely AU. I think we learned in S2 that Dean had his first kill when he was 16.

Oh, he's The Trickster from Season 2 Eppisode Tall Tales and also an episode in S3. He's only been in two epps this whole show, but seriously he's one of my favorite minor characters....
