Well, you got me; I'm officially hooked :) I loved every bit of it but I have to say what really had me choked up was when Elizabeth was dreaming of her father.

I want you to know,” he’d said, squatting beside the mattress, “that this doesn’t change things between us.” But his eyes held something fragile as he produced the ring from his pocket and pressed it to her hand.

How very in character! Having Jack return the ring was one of my favorite parts.

I can't wait to read on :)

Thank you so much for reading, and for your lovely comments! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the story. :)

I'm really glad that the Weatherby scene and the flashback to the ring return worked for you. Those moments were my darlings.

Thanks so much again!

In all honesty, I have never quite understood why 'Pirates' fanfiction authors found themselves to disheartened and disappointed after AWE's ending.

The movie left so many problems unsolved and so much interaction open that I thought Sparrabeth lovers would be itching to explore the endless possibilities of future developments. I was looking forward to angst, drama, earth-shattering disputes and banter between Jack and 'lizabeth and several possible solutions to the potential Will/Elizabeth/Jack love triangle. Now, finally, this is a story that promises all that and more.

I already love it and will be waiting for updates faithfully. Thank you for sharing it!

Thanks so much for the lovely comments, and for showing interest in my work. I agree that there are a ton of options left to explore at the end of AWE, and I'm excited to have started just that. There will certainly be plenty of angst and craziness etc - at least if the universe in my head makes it to the page intact. :)

Thanks so much for reading! You've made my day.

This was way beyond all of my expectations. I'm an avid Sparrabeth shipper, and I actually just joined livejournal because there wasn't much decent fic on ff.net. (I'm actually still getting used to this whole reading stories in journal format thing, lol ( ... )

I am in... just.... wow.... wow....

I am new to the fandom, and so far I have missed Elisabeth a bit. William's and all the other struggles after AWE, is clearly found. But not Elisabeth. At least not so it rings true to me. I am just a reader, not a writer, but really... This rang sooo, sooo true to me. Much love.
