I suck. I'm way behind on my NaNoWriMo. The story sucks anyways. If any of you guys think it's still worth giving a shot please tell me. I'm trying to type it up now. I have school during the day unlike most who are doing this. AND I have like four projects AND that stupid counter thing for NaNoWriMo like the one Nici has won't work for me.

Don't give up! Even if you can't make it to 50k (there are still 18 days left ...) you will end up with an epic word count you can be proud of. Don't write for the 50k or for the 1667 words a day, write for yourself and your own goal.
If you need someone to tell you your story isn't as bad as you think I'd love to read it and tell you ;)

And re: the word count widget ... these were down the last couple of days due to some technical issues. But everything should be back to normal now.

it is that bad. Trust me. What do I have to do exactly to get the word widget cause i like copy and paste the code that it gives you to an entry and it won't work. :(

Copying the code is what I did.
What do you seen when you open the widget page? The images or only text? Because the first time I tried to use the widgets the images weren't on the page, but since they are there the widget it working in my journal, too.
I just copied this http://www.nanowrimo.org/NanowrimoUtils/LiveParticipant/505775.png" /> (the 505775 is my id - you should have a different one)
That's all. It works in a normal entry as well as in the sidebar or my userinfo ...

ummm i'm sorry i forgot to mention that i'm doing the young writers program and am shooting for 20000. I know suckish. :(
