I think that's amazing of you guys to have a ritual on his birthday. Time heals the open wounds, but they always stay in your heart. I didn't even know about your family's loss until I read your sister's paper that she posted on Myspace.. but it just adds to the knowledge that you're both so strong and amazing people. =]
