It got to be a part of his every day routine. So much so that he didn't even hear it anymore.
Then Alkali came and it was just gone. Blinked out almost like the warm color that followed the sound. Others had lighters even other Zippo's, but none of them sounded right.
It still took a few minute to place the sound. THAT sound was what he'd been missing. Turning, he looked at the Hazel eyes and the same smirk.
His eyes fell to the lighter, his own smile widening at the familiar flick and swoosh. "Allerdyce, where've you been?"
