Why was Bobby stopping? John had never run from anything in his life but he'd never had armed men coming to kill him before. Too many to burn.
"Drake, let's go."
She was looking at them - at Bobby - and he knew what Bobby would decide. They'd both be going with Rogue. Whether he wanted to or not. Running was one thing. If others went with you, it was surviving. But not if you went alone. Alone wasn't surviving, it was hiding. And John didn't hide. He went with them, frustration and anger burning in him slightly hotter than the fear.
