"I still don't get why we need to know this for our powers. Pointless shit if you ask me." John slammed the book shut as Bobby shook his head.
"It's what our powers have in common, what we both need. Can't burn things if they don't have oxygen for fuel and there's no water to freeze if there's no oxygen and hydrogen molecules."
John smirked and Bobby wondered if it was finally sinking in. Instead, John's lips were pressed against his and he forgot to breathe until his chest burned for air.
"See Bobby, I know what we both need."
