The end of year picnic had gone off without anyone powers backfiring. A good day over all at Mutant High.
John slowly slid the popsicle into his mouth. He purposely watched Gambit and Jubilee try to make the loudest explosion, ignoring the shifting presence of Bobby across from him. His smirk easily disappeared into the tight circle his lips made, staining themselves red on the cherry flavored treat.
A glance at his roommate before pushing the popsicle in further, then he smiled as he pulled it out with a small sound.
"Getting ideas, Bobby-boy? Now you know how I felt."
