Hi there! Long time no see!

This seems to be setting the tone as very good intro into a longer story, but I have to point out the over usage of "she" in the first two paragraphs. That made the opening a bit too dry, so I had to gnaw my way through it. All the rest was thoroughly enjoyable, though.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I remembered the deadline shortly before we had to leave for a weekend trip. So, the entry I had planned was a bit rushed and unedited.

This definitely seems a bit rushed but what you have written is very good. It would make a great start to a longer story. Good luck this week!
