(Soph's 100 Fic Challenge) 29. Multifaceted Waves
Title: Multifaceted Waves
Prompt: 29. Sea
Pairing: Sungmin/Siwon
Characters: Sungmin, Siwon, (Eunhyuk, Donghae)
Genre: Crack, Humor, Romance
Rating: PG-13 (for swearing, violence)
Summary: Not waiting in line doesn't make the wait any shorter.
Additional Prompt: "i want to fucking throw you-"
On the beach, there is a very cute man in very pink swim shorts sitting beneath a very large umbrella on a very…bunny towel.
He is alone, but his movements suggest that he is waiting for someone, and has been for quite a while, much to his dismay.
A group of dumb teenage boys drool over him from afar. Unfortunately for dumb teenage boys, they are not very good at reading body language. They are, however, very good at pretending that they are charming and attractive, so they start hovering around the bunny towel and striking unflattering poses.
Sungmin notices, of course, but he doesn’t really care.
no idk where donghae is, he texts a desperate Eunhyuk. have you asked key yet? maybe he went looking for kibum again, poor kid
The adolescents close in, rather upset that they were paid no heed whatsoever.
poor donghae? key? kibum? asks Eunhyuk.
all of them, Sungmin answers. …but mostly key. i think for his birthday ill get kyuhyun to stop giving donghae monster. listen i gtg, good luck finding donghae, dont let him near kyu. bye :3
He sets his phone down and finally warily eyes the closest boy. The leader, as cliché as it may be, but then again nothing about this scenario is exactly original.
The boy seems delighted at the attention and walks right over, stepping on the bunny towel. Sungmin tenses momentarily before taking a deep breath to regain composure.
“You’re so cute,” says the boy.
‘Go away,’ thinks Sungmin. ‘Oh my goodness where is Siwon and why is he taking so long.’
“You are so, so, so cute. So cute that I want to fucking throw you-“
The boy doesn’t get to finish his thought because Sungmin doesn’t feel like listening to it and shuts him up with a suplex. He then drop-kicks the probably unconscious teenager into the sea and returns to his towel, gently petting it on the bunny’s ear where the boy had stepped.
A couple of minutes later, Siwon returns with drinks. Sungmin flashes him a winning smile and quickly grabs the glass with the pink drink umbrella, patting the towel beside him and telling Siwon to sit down.
“I’m sorry for leaving you here alone for so long,” Siwon says, truly apologetic. “The line was so huge. You were okay, though?”
“Even better now that you’re here with me,” Sungmin replies, and blissfully leans against Siwon’s side to watch the waves overlap each other under the midmorning sun.
A/N: And now my friend and I swap additional prompts also LOL they have to be in there word for word...and thus this nonsense was born :D
