Music needs

I seem to be auditorally restless lately. I keep buying new music to listen to because I want new good stuff to listen to and then I'm disappointed with the music. New Shiny Toy Guns CD, Season of Poison? Don't really like it. Which might partly be because they have (as Krystina noticed) a new female vocalist who just isn't as good as the ( Read more... )

The new Britney CD has a few catchy gems on it, if you're wanting some overproduced pop to dance/drive to.

After learning that you apparently don't have much of a problem with country (Jenny Lewis, She & Him, etc.), you should check out some stuff from the new Pretenders album, Break Up the Concrete. "Love's a Mystery" will blow your MIND.

I'm having a brain fart. Suddenly. I came here with a whole list and now it's gone. This is scary. Well maybe a few hours of work (i.e. listening to my mp3 player) tonight will refresh my brain...

OH! Good suggestion RE: Enya. I love everything she does. She's capable of improving ANYTHING, even Christmas. Actually, my original memories of Enya's music involved holidays, so even her typical material feels Christmas to me.

It's not Enya, but the new Guns N Roses CD is getting played a lot at my house. I like the song "Better".

The only non metal/HR album I've bought lately was the new P!nk album, but it's not wholey recommendable, other than maybe the first single off of it.
