Books on tape used to get me through family vacations. 12 hour drive down to florida? No problem :)

I have been meaning to get a few books on tape from the library, for the next time I drive to Richmond, I think they are great, but sometimes the single voice bothers me...

:) No problem.

I picked up a new book on tape at the library recently...after trying a few, the voice definitely matters for me. Sometimes I can get used to it, but other times I just have to take it back.

Hah, and I live near Richmond. Have a good trip~

Actually, I love books on tape for given things. Science Fiction and fantasy epics in particular frequently hire good actors and make mega-productions with excellent sound effects. I'd recommend the original recordings of the Wizard's First Rule series (the more modern ones aren't nearly as well-done.

I've been curious about Harry Potter on tape, even though I've read them, for that same reason- they say the different characters and acting are great.

I've started to try to pick up either fiction books that I don't think I'll ever read physically, but that I still have a mild interest in or non-fiction.

Also, I was visiting your info page and saw that you have a music and french journal. Added those to my friend list, so I hope that you don't mind.
