I liked The Wood Wife as well, but I find that as the distance between the time I read it and the present grows the things I remember the most are the setting itself, the arid southwest, and the house of the poet with all those quotes hanging on the walls. I want to do the same with the quotes.

I was in Arizona last January, and ,although I didn't get to see as much of it as I wanted, I liked it. :)

Those are things sticking out in my mind too. And the rabbit girl, Thumper. She was great.

If I'm not careful I'll pack a bag and just disappear there. Forget about preparation and money, just wander (yeah, yeah, I know everyone's sure I wouldn't last a week, lol).
