It's always a shock when the muse goes, "Well, your idea's okay, but mine's better" and takes you to a place you're not expecting. Either way, I'm sure it's going to be awesome.

I love it when my characters hijack a scene. It means you really know them and that their voice is really clear.

Most of the time I love it too when they take over, because then it takes the story in a direction that I hadn't originally anticipated. It keeps me entertained like any other reader! Nope, this is still that Tin Man fanfic that I've been working on for a few months now. Though lately the original fiction bug has started coming back and demanding to be paid attention to. So I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to be in fandom. We'll see.
