OMG, if I read one more fucking story where the idiot authors write "whipped" instead of "wiped" I'm going to kill someone. I've read three separate stories today that have done that and I'm about ready to cry... or just bang my head against the desk repeatedly ( Read more... )

*winces*

Ouch! Yeah, that gets to me too. That's why spell check and the dictionary are two of my best friends. That and I've learned from experience to never post while you're tired.

I did read your latest chapter and it was excellent! I'll leave you a review when I'm more awake and able to give something more detailed than "OMG!! SQUEEEE! I loved it!"

I keep reading fics that use "suite" for "suit." ARGH.

And if I read one more scene where DG and Cain get all drooly upon seeing each other in Big Fancy Ball Finery, I may slit my own wrists.

I've come to hate the phrase "but not overly so." He was muscular but not overly so. It was warm but not overly so. She was well built but not overly so.

Yeah, I'm just being grouchy, because I know I've probably used the phrase once or twice.

My personal favorite:

"Thrown" instead of "throne."

Just...huh?

You know, we should start putting a list together. "Ten Things That Make Me Slap Myself Upside The Head While Reading Fanfic."

The one that pisses me off is "loose" instead of "lose."

I just about loose my mind when I read it.

No, seriously, I do. I also get annoyed at "challange" for "challenge" and "opps" for "oops."
