I GOT TWO BOOKS TODAY!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I bought The Gunslinger by Stephen King. I've heard so many wonderful things about The Dark Tower Series, I just had to check it out. I also bought Good Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett, another one I have heard amazing things about. I'm so excited! I think I'll read The Gunslinger while I work ( Read more... )

Good Omensss. Augh, it's so wonderful. And hilarious. And occasionally deep. I've read my copy so many times that it's threatening to fall apart. :D It's a quick nice read that never fails to make me happy. (Also, I ship it so hard. You'll see what I mean.)

You're reading Jonathan Strange? How is that? I'm about 75 pages in and the length is terribly daunting with a new semester coming up...

When my phone goes vorp vorp all but one person thought it was a dinosaur roaring. (That one person started flailing and going AAAAHHHH TARDIS, though, so it's totally worth it.)

I'm super excited to start reading it. I've wanted to read it for so long, since everyone I know online loves it. It was between that and American Gods, but I went with Good Omens just because I've heard more about it. Eee. I want to finish these other two books, but I may have to start Good Omens tonight xD

I LOVE IT. It is incredibly long (and is it just me or is the font tiny?) but once everything starts going, it's so good. The only trouble I have is remembering the characters, because a crap ton get introduced. I've just been reading a chapter whenever I can, or else I'd be too intimidated by it to read it.

Hahaha, I don't know what people will think when my phone goes off. I know that, if anyone freaks out and goes, "TARDDDISSS," we will have to become best friends. I'me excited. :D

What is Sriracha?
One of my favourite tofu dishes is called "Mabo-dofu", but since that's basically tofu with spicy minced meat it's not suitbale for vegetarians (as I asume you are one?!).
I'm used to having Tofu in my Miso soup several times a week, so if you could try this if you find a store that sells Miso around you.

It's a Thai hot sauce made from chili peppers. It's amazing if you love spicy food. My friends even go so far as to use it on pizza.

Oh, I'm not a vegetarian. I'm just trying to eat more healthy foods. Mabo-dofu sounds delicious, actually. :D

I've always wanted to try Miso soup, so that will probably be my first try. I'm lucky to have several Asian markets in my town (something I don't understand seeing as we're pretty country xD)

Thanks for the suggestions :D

As for the Mabo-dofu, I've just googled a bit, here's a recipe for example. I think you can exchange some ingredients, for example the hot bean paste, for something similar, like chilis, if you can't find it in your region.

Oooh! That looks delicious! And it isn't a very complex recipe with loads of special ingredients. I'm excited to try it.

Yay Doctor Who ringtones <3 I have that as my text tone, the Torchwood theme as my regular ringtone, the old-school theme for my alarm and the new-school theme as one of my personalized tones. I have yet to have someone recognize any of them yet though :( I use phonezoo.com, it's fabulous.

I'm so excited. I'm going to just make people call me when I'm in a public place, just to see if anyone recognizes it. I doubt they will, seeing as it's a little country here, but still.

I need to watch Classic!Who so bad. I can't find anywhere to watch it online though.
