A Cat Mystery

Hmm, that's frustrating. Is there a way you can shut the other 2 cats in a room for a day and put out some super yummy food so you can see if Destiny is coming out to eat? Cats are very good at hiding in places that make them super hard to find, when we moved in here Ernie (our black cat) hid under the basement stairs so far in that we couldn't see him (he just blended in, being black) and we rushed around for hours thinking he had somehow gotten out. I hope you find Destiny alive and well very soon.

I like poegirl13's suggestion.

I still would be willing to come help you look:( I'm so sorry!

Oh, and by the way, Elliott is extremely vocal 24/7, but when he crawls into the dresser drawer to hide, he is completely silent. Maybe Destiny is being like that? I wouldn't give up?

Okay, this is kinda morbid, but hear me out: cat's tend to try and find places to die when they are sick, right? Since Destiny is feeling better, maybe she now has the energy to follow through on that "urge." But cats don't know that they can get better with medicine, so even though she thinks/feels like she is going to die, she really will be just fine with the meds (or maybe even is already fine) but doesn't know that so she is hiding.
