I have a serious need for PTSD fic for Link. Or the Earthbound kids. I don't want grimdark Hyrule so much as I want a realistic depiction of what all that shit would do to a twelve year old's psyche.

There's actually quite a bit of fucked!OoT Link fic out there. You just have to be willing to hunt down the good stuff. OoT is one of those games that, after you look at it in the wide scope of the rest of the series, is so ridiculously tragic you just won't to go D: the whole time you play it. The "happy ending" is pretty fucked when you realize they basically did shit to stop Ganondorf.
