i_chaos_bringer just bailed on me to go to a sneak preview of Ruins tonight at the Scotiabank/Paramount Theatre. Enjoy, but be warned it's a *lot* more intense and the violence is a lot less stylized than the run-of-the-mill horror movie, a few people at the preview staggered out before it ended. I liked it a lot better than what I was expecting, but it was a lot harder to take, not just your standard jungle horror movie with some lame monster like a giant snake or something popping up.

I was actually hoping for that! When we did the April preview the other day I went on record saying that this looked better than the run of the mill horror flick. Now I'm even more excited to check it out!
