Yesterday, a swarm of ants had gotten into my bedroom and spread themselves all over the place. A box of unopened candy was the culprit. As I spent about an hour spraying them (interestingly, sunblock spray does the trick) and wiping hopefully each last one away, I strangely thought about God's sovereignty. Aren't we being hypocritical when we act according to how we please, and yet, question God when He, who has all right to do so, does the same?
That's a good point you bring up, and I agree. I think there is a double standard in play when we do what we wish to things that we make or buy, and yet balk when God does the same in full justice and goodness.
