Because I have ALL kinds of time on my hands, I'm playing.

[Comment to this post, and I will list seven things I want you to talk about. They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your journal. Other people can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.]

Ahahahaha. I love your answers. I'm cracking up at your Titanic answers. I was in fifth grade when that movie came out and popularity in school, for like an entire MONTH, was determined by whether or not your parents let you see that movie. Anyway, my mom checked it out with her friend up the street to determine child appropriateness (although I'm not sure why she was so careful about these things, since my dad let us watch just about anything, so we'd already seen it all), then she figured out there was only one sex scene, some nudity, and some sadness. Suffice it to say, we went. And I was like... what the hell's all the fuss about?

Good story.

Milk and pizza? You poor thing!

Oh, hello, Mr Olyphant. How nice to see you in your shirtless glory. *sigh*

Yeah, and I still can't watch the movie without thinking about the absolutely HORRIBLE recaps we gave each other! "Uh, he's playing cards with some guys and I don't know why, but they're putting colored pogs in the middle of everyone."

Yes, Milk and Pizza. Srsly. My mom would ask if we wanted any of our friends to come over for pizza Friday and I was all....uh, are we having milk? So embarrassing. LOL

Do you want words? I know you already did your thing over at S's journal.

Sorry!!! This response got lost in my email and I've had the craziest week. But I meant to respond to this way sooner.

hahaha. I'm still laughing at your Titanic story. So funny.

And milk and pizza=gross and embarrassing. Although, I think lots of families are like that.

I don't need words, no. I was just wanting to comment on yours. :)

I'm the same way about singing, too.

LOL, your answers are awesome. I'm cracking up that you turned down a Coke from your mom because you were stubborn, because that is 100% something I would have done. Love it.

Also, I have never had beer at bowling because I'm always bowling with my kids! Good to know that they have cheap beer.

Titanic, heh. Because I was older than most of my f-list when it came out, I thought it was pretty much the worst movie ever and I'm still ashamed of myself for crying, because I'm like I'M BEING MANIPULATED, WTF? Clearly I should think less on these subjects.

I have so far found one good pair of jeans on my search (I love them a lot, but of course I can't get them in any other colors in the same size, woe). However, I'm going actually shopping to a mall on Wednesday *pauses to shudder* and we'll see if that yields any more jeans.

You don't need to give me words unless you truly want to know my opinion on something, given that I have already done this meme! Your answers rock.

your icon! Annie, please, would you stop looking so adorable in pictures and get back on my TV screen please? jeez!

Turning down that coke. Biggest. Regret. Ever.

I swear, the first thing I do when I get home is give you the name of my favorite jeans. That's of course after I regain consciousness, because I plan on sleeping my bed to a sickening degree for the first day.

Only because I need some new stuff, give me thoughts (or your faves) in books and music!

Annie is too ridiculously cute. I have some insane number of icons of her or Renee.

Hmm, books and music. I'm not sure that anything I say will be "new," because I'm hopelessly behind the times in all things pop culture. In books, I truly enjoy almost everything Alice Hoffman has ever written. I'm also a giant fan of Philip Pullman, Barbara Kingsolver (well, before she got super serious at least), Herman Wouk, Milan Kundera (The Unbearable Lightness of Being is amazing), Kazuo Ishiguro, and a decent amount of Anne Tyler.

Music? I am so into Bronze Radio Return right now, and they are a new discovery for me. I worship Brandi Carlile, Lucinda Williams, Alison Krauss, and Emmylou Harris. The Civil Wars are insanely amazing. I tend to get obsessed over single songs, too, so I could go on and on until the end of time about that, but I won't. Remy Zero! They are also nifty. I'm probably no help. Most of my musical taste is either obscure or retro.

Love your answers. The singing--that is definitely me too. I'm pretty sure there is all sorts of unfortunate footage out there of me, my sister and our friends dancing and singing for our captive audience. In fact, I just found a video of my sister and I at two and three, forcing all our relatives to sit and watch us perform. Unfortunately, since we were the babies, they obliged and videotaped. In conclusion: I can never run for office.

I can never run for office

Haha! Yeah, me neither! For so many reason...most of which took place after the age of 12. So, you know, can't claim adorable deny-ability. I hate that those video tapes exist! LOL. I mean, they're great for family reunions and what not, but why do they always surface when I have a date?

You words (should you choose to accept them): Food Network, David Duchovny, frogs, video games, apples, and sports.
