So, Emily and I were coming up with a list of names for characters with good kick-buttitude. The general idea was come up with a team who would work well together (no people who would only go on their own or wouldn't play nice with each other) for putting them in a room with another team and your team would be the one to come out alive. And because it's just useful to have an uber-powerful telekinetic:

I suppose Wolverine is too much of a loner, but he would be a good melee choice otherwise. Replace The Thing with your personal favorite invulnerable tank, like Colossus would work. Or you could be cheap and probably still win with a team that consisted solely of Superman.
