harry potter + monroe project idea

I went to see Harry Potter last night. Good times. We got there over two hours early and got to see tons of bad trailers and the twenty. So exciting. Okay, the movie is probably ten times better than the last two. Alfonso Cuaron is an awesome director. However, the book is at least ten times better than the movie. Thematically, it sticks to the book, but it's hard to watch it knowing what's missing. They didn't even explain the Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs connection. I didn't really like the dementors flying bit. Come to think of it, there was way too much flying in the movie. How high did Harry go in the Quidditch match? I don't think that's allowed. And the first time he flew Buckbeak? They could have cut that bit for some more Weasley twins action. Other than that, it was cool. Ron is still, and always, the best.

And for those of you who haven't spent your Monroe money, I found something that looks fabulous. Italian language plus cooking classes: Tuscan Cooking. $750-$950 + $700 housing for four weeks. In Florence. Think about it.

Movies seen:
Win a Date with Tad Hamilton - cute, but predictable
Camp - bad dialogue, poor storyline, good singing
Under the Tuscan Sun - very pretty, entertaining, plus hot italians
