I was on board for the first two. The third had me going "ehhh..." because even though he said it "wasn't an excuse," it still sounded like an excuse to me. The next two completely lost me, because they basically boiled down to, "We can't HELP but think about sex all the time, can't HELP but objectify you, you don't know our pain, we're biologically predestined to be douchebags, and that's why in the end you actually control us."
Yes, I was left with the same feeling at the end. It was summed up with the idea that men just are flawed in this way and can not relate to female human beings AS human beings. It was actually incredibly sad. I thought some of the article was quite good in that it pointed out how men have so much rage towards women for not being in a constantly fuckable state (to every single man on earth). There really is an insane amount of ferocity towards women who dare to be anything less than boner-inducing. Or if the attractive woman says anything a man doesn't like, she will be depicted as ugly (the first thing men use against women). It was just a sad sad commentary. I hope men aren't really slaves to their peenies. They always accuse women of being out of control and emotional, but it seems it's men who can't stay in control.
