"ugly, chunky places" made me lol! xD *ahem* sorry!

Off topic: Saginaw is the name of a town in Michigan...actually the town where my brother lives
*giggles* yeah. for lack of anything better to say, hehe. but you don't have to be sorry about the lols. ;) lols are welcome here, hehe.
I'm glad you like it, though. hope you'll have fun making something with the aid of this tutorial. (should anything be unclear or totally confusing, please feel free to ask. my english isn't le best, ne?)
and yes. I googled saginaw once, and was confused that no fonts showed up at all. =P guess you'll be able to remember the name of the font really easily, then. *grins*
Thank you for this great tut.. I had to try it before I´ll go to sleep right now *yawns* - and over there <--- is my result. No masterpiece, but I do like it. A little at least ♥.
*grins* you are very welcome! permission to hug back? ;) that's really sweet of you to try it out before going to sleep and that you took the time to do it. so thank you back, hehe. ♥
Great tutorial I changed the image a bit well a lot It's too bag for her so if you could go here schnouzii and how come towards the end of the animation the pirate looks horrible?
I like your idea a lot! thanks for sharing your result with me. =D yes. the pirate looks smudgy towards the end. when you have time, reopen the .gif again in Image Ready (or whichever software you used to animate it). things worked quite well in the beginning, but I am quite sure that you missed a few black pixels towards the end. you can easily fix that by making all your layers except the one(s) where you suspect the pixels to be invisible. then click on a white area with the wand tool to create a selection. the selection will show you the outlines of all your black pixels. then you invert your selection by hitting CTRL + SHIFT + I, and then you just erase the black parts that you don't want. you'll likely have to switch back and forth between layers several times again, to make sure that you don't end up with blank spots in your final result.
