Today I went fishing and caught a grand total of two fish. Both were about the size of my hand. It made me realize the summer weather is here to stay. I just spent a night sleeping on pieces of charcoal on an island. It was probably the least fulfilling sleep I've had in a very long time.

I'm tired. I had jellyfish hurled at me. My muscles hurt like all sorts of hell, and I smell like a combination of perspiration and river water. But damn, I had some fun.

I climbed great heights and stood in awe of the tiny headlights traveling down familiar roads. A glow to the north accompanied with grey smoke hinted a wood fire. I have been doing laundry and browsing MySpace all day.

I came across an acoustic version of "Hey Ya!" and there's actually some meaningful lyrics behind the infectiously poppy music that OutKast produced.

Just yesterday, one of my brothers could have passed away. He woke up with a fever of 104 degrees at 3 AM, and went to a nearby hospital. After a catscan and spinal tap, they narrowed it down to either viral meningitis or a viral upper respiratory infection.
