Long post... sorry.

I've been reading the book that Trey bought me for X-mas. The author ( a Professor of Para-psychology at New York Institute of Technology ) has some very strange theories. He believes that the mind, as we know it, may actually be a spirit. That the body holds the spirit in this life. He says that we know the mind exists, but cannot measure it ( Read more... )

i think ghosts are projections of a mind demanding some sort of deep intellectual stimulation. it seems to me (though i may be wrong) that many ghost sightings are witnessed by people who are a bit reclusive. although, if you've ever seen some of the shost specials on the sci-fi channel, you'll see that a lot of the skeptics are converted to ghost-beleivers. i have a theory for this phenomena.....we all know its true that people can sort of project their fears onto other people, i think that a skeptic, surrounded and buffeted by 'beleivers', are, in a sense, forced to beleive. most of the skeptics are told the stories and descriptions of supposed ghosts and or paranormal activities, so when they are in the room where the sightings were witnessed (where they are seldom left alone) the 'beleivers' all sort of gasp and scream, and project their beleif onto the now-converted skeptics.

what do you think?

btw, i'm sure i misspelled the word 'beleive', so sorry

peace out,

Hmm, that is an interesting theory. But I don't quite understand it. I'm sorry but I just don't see the light. :(

neither, everybody knows that ghosts are really minions of SATAN

but if i had to pick one, the second sounds much more logical. even though i'd like to think ghosts exist...

I'd like to think ghosts exist too. But I agree with you, the 2nd one does seem more logical to me also. I think the second one makes sense more because there is no scientific evidence to support the first one.

Just think though... if humans can create ghosts by pure thought, then... just maybe man might have actually created god(s) as well.
