I essentially failed horribly at going vegan. It's so hard as FUCK, and Elizabeth and I were basically just really unhappy for a week before deciding eating cheese every once in a while doesn't make us horrible people

Yeah, it was pretty miserable. Not so much the lack of cheese, but the heinous inability to eat anything you don't completely make yourself every meal!

We've lately been having baguette, goat cheese, and artichoke hearts rather than real meals.. it's amazing. Hurray for just being vegetarian!

Kayaking has been killing my arms so bad. We're probably going again on saturday or sunday (there is a "lavender festival" this weekend, and while I have no idea what that actually is, Elizabeth loves lavender and we will totally be going to that the day we're not kayaking).

bruno ruled. the end was the best part, imo. seeing those alabamians get fired up brought a tear to my eye. i will never ever leave the south. in fact my neighbors have a torn up baby pool in their front yard and ordinarily i would complain about how trashy they are, but after seeing bruno i'm somehow proud of it. or maybe i've been watching too much squidbillies. i can't tell.

The end was the best part, I thought. And the baby photoshoot stuff!

I saw a clip of Barbara Walters talking about the movie on the view, and it was hilariously sad. I've never heard someone so afraid of dicks in my life.
