He didn't follow the other group into the forest. he was too busy trying to piece together what exactly was going on and without Sebastian there to help him make sense of it, he actually felt quite lost. He looked up at his Father and shrugged. He then remembered. My eye. I can't let him see it. I can't...I can't let him see that!
He reached up and took hold of the fabric of his Father's shirt and moved closer to him. He pressed his face against him as tears began to well up in his eyes.
Damn it. I shouldn't be crying. I shouldn't be an emotional mess and this shouldn't be happening! How can this be happening?
Ciel was frustrated. Everything that was going on defeated whatever logic he ever had. Being kidnapped, put on a plane only to crash, and ending up on an island? It wasn't something that anyone would normally think of happening. It was impossible! And to top it off, seeing his father? He couldn't understand at all. Not one single bit of it. He sighed and inhaled his scent. "You are...Real."
He really was him.. Ciel was safe. Different, but safe, and nothing else mattered to Rachel at the moment. She watched as Ciel got closer to his father, and.. was he crying? Her protective nature was too much to resist. She wanted to take Ciel close too, but he was having a sweet moment with his father. She hoped she didn't interrupt him or scare him, and knelt down to her son's level. She gave him a little tap on the shoulder.
"What are you saying, darling? We are right here."
He moved his hand to rest it onto the back of his son's head, lightly patting him. A sign of not to worry.
"Yes, I'm real and right here. I won't go anywhere."
Despite the situation, it's wonderful for Vincent to bee with his family right now. They are all here and safe. Ciel may have changed over the years of his death, but it doesn't mean that he won't learn of what he missed.
"Death will never split this family apart. Do know that, Ciel."
Echo stared at the family that was enjoying their happy reunion. She put her head to the side and watched instead of paying attention to Vincent. She decided not to go up against Glenn because it would be a death wish. She wasn't stupid.

Baskervilles and Jack. She sat up and backed away from them on the sand. She stared at them. Her eyes met Glenn's in a lost gaze.
