"And I'm suppose to just leave you here to get caught again?" Alice asked in an unpleasant tone. She didn't exactly kick Gunji and run off to safety with Battler just so he can get himself caught again. In her head, his advice was idiotic, she wasn't going to just leave him.

Gunji had moved onto the roof tops after a moment, grinning to himself as he tracked the stray pet and the fighter, cackling to himself as he actually could find exactly where they were. Slowly he moved closer to the ground, landing in a crouch in a dark area somewhere ahead of them bothm licking over his teeth, resting his arms across his knees. He only had to wait a few moments..

"Run run ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun~ You can't geet awaaaaaaaaAaaaaaaaaaaaaaay~" Cackling as he sing-songed a bit from where he had taken up wait, not caring if it echoed off the sides of the crumbling buildings..

Well I get notifs anyways since I'm the log-maker hurr hurr. >3>

"Well uh... that was the plan, yeah, heh." Battler grinned sheepishly, shrugging. "It's my fault I got caught by him in the first place. Though... I'm not too sure what's going on--"

And then he heard it. How could he not? The sound of the enforcer's voice echoing through the alley, like some morbid song. It felt as though his stomach was twisting itself into little knots.

"This way!" He gasped, grabbing Alice by the arm again and dashing out of the alley... hopefully in the opposite direction of the enforcer's voice.

Again? This whole running away and not getting caught thing was getting tiring. There were many things she also didn't understand, but it seemed that this boy wasn't going to give her the answers she wanted. As they ran out of the alley, Alice wondered whether he even knew where he was going, but still followed obediently.

"Can't I just kick him again?" She complained, even though she knew there was no way she could win if they really fought. There had to be someone how can be of help, but for now...all they could do was run.

So he was semi lucky at having escaped from the fighting stadium without so much as anyone on his tail. However, as opposed to being a contractor, he could tell something was off and that his chain was in some form of trouble, which, in all honesty, wasn't that rare for fighters in the first place. The sound of his boots echoed off the alley walls, making his presence noticeable by default.

It was crazy, truly crazy. Bizarre even. He wanted to help Gil and find a way for him to get out of the fight unscathed but his efforts were for nought, thus making him nothing more than useless. He leaned against a nearby wall, panting after the much running he'd done, his chest heaving up and down in perfect rhythm. Alice...! As hard as he possibly could, he tried to concentrate on hearing her voice, trying to rid his head off the much clutter. Wherever you are, I'm going find you. I refuse to be titled as useless!

Alice was about to say something to Battler before she was cut off by the sound of footsteps hitting on the ground. Her instincts told her that it could only be one person. Oz...

He showed up quickly after she finished her train of thought, breathing deeply as he made his way towards them. She was happy to see him...but..."OZ! WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!" This was all his fault. If he had been there when she went to look for him she wouldn't be stuck in this mess, she will have to remember to punish him after they get out of here. She was ready to swing a kick at him now, but that was if only Gunji wasn't in between them. "Che

Gunji was actually standing rather boredly at the start of the alley way. rubbing the back of his head and somehow managing to not bonk or cut himself with the pair of claws he had on the hand. It was another Enforcer at the other end of the alley, and he could tell that another fighter was coming while the one he'd been chasing and the stray pet were more or less stuk between two different evils, "Huh.."

He turned his head enough to look into Oz's direction, but still be able to see from the corner of an eye if Battler and Alice made any sudden movement. This was getting interesting, and a slow smirking was forming that would probably soon be a grin..

Requested by Battler-mun for me to go before Battler to make some things sense

It wasn't long until she started to cackle very loudly, shaking her head before approaching closer to Battler, with her pipe rocking between her fingers.

"Too bad that I'm already here, Battleeeeeeeer." She said, taunting the man's very name. The witch is not surprised if he is still denying her very existence. "You are still the same, denying that me, witches, magic, and all of that are real."

"If you find this a dream, then welcome to the nightmare. I think you're going to like it~" Another butterfly appeared, which Beatrice raised her free hand to let it land. It glowed into a handle, where a long chain is connected to it.
