I'm starting to figure out how people become alcoholics. Everytime I start working more on this thesis project, I get more depressed and frustrated seeing how long it's taking me to get a couple pages out (and they're not even particularly well-written pages). I just feel all this pressure from my parents, my adviser, myself...December is coming ( Read more... )

So I've been working in the library for a few hours now, doing the tedious and painful job of reading many many articles. And while I didn't believe people before when they told me that staying at the library all day constituted being mean to myself, I'm starting to realize how difficult it will actually be to spend 8-10 hours working here everyday

Alright, so for those of you that I haven't told(because I haven't seen or talked to you in a week or longer), Lacy and I are now engaged to be married! Wedding being planned for summer of '07. More info to follow in the coming months.

So I had to work tonight from 7pm until 3am. I've never liked having to work until that hour, but tonight was worse than usual. Around 12am the snow showed up, and it became very hard. So I'm writing this from inside the recently completed new home of the Schlow Library. I noticed it was open and I decided to check it out, see how it feels. I'll be honest - it's a very beautiful building.
