I know what you mean, but I think it must be assumed that someone had. Since Harry definitely would have revealed everything about Snape to clear his name, and, after all Snape had done for Harry, I think Harry would not leave his body without a proper funeral. :)

Thanks! This scene just came into my head - it helped crystallise some of the "huh?" moments I had with the book.

And, yes, it amused me to think of someone, somewhere standing next to Snape at the book shop...! Glad you liked it.
