its so nice to hear things going on, I miss you guys! AT not being around anymore and Jake moving, where does the time go! Glad things are going well and sorry about the raking!
Uh, tartan wedding dress? Savages, I tell ya; I'm dealing with savages here. Sigh. You do have a good bridal axe, though, right? :)
Talk to me about beer. I can most likely swing you a couple of half-barrels of some Michigan micro-brews at no more than wholesale. Less if I can ever hook you up with Karl and his backyard landscaping. :)
reception halls won't let us bring in beer. :( otherwise we wouldn't worry about it. I'm still perfectly willing to work with Karl, last i heard from him he was going to send me pictures when he thought he could afford to do the project. Like i said before, i'm good trading landscaping designs for beer or wine/mead. bridal axe, dagger, dirk... i've got options :)
So good to hear that you're alive and well. Oh, and I hear ya about the trees. They're so lovely when they're green and shady - and suck ass when they dump all over your yard. *shrugs* Eh, what can you do?

You've got sucky reception halls then. We had a full bar at our wedding, plus a keg, all things that we brought in ourselves. Bah to Brighton/Howell Reception Halls - Bah, I say!
We never rake the leaves. I hate it. We just mow all the leaves instead. Chopped into tiny pieces and ready to go back into the ground is so much easier then trying to bag them all up. Better for the soil and quicker too!
except when they are so thick you can't see the grass :(
we did do that when it was just light leaf fall. but it was too much left overs for the grass if we did it with our current coverage of leaves. (it was a idea jason had the first time we raked about 1/2 way done) i fully intend on doing that otherwise.
